I actually suck with Katarina

You've probably been rolling your face in the wrong direction. You want to roll if from the left side of your keyboard to the right. If you roll it the other way then sometimes your ult gets cancelled and you only get 2 kills instead of 5.

How do you play her?

This is the funniest joke on the entire boards.

Kat is easy to get kills once you get fed. Truth is; she isn't that strong in lane, and if the enemy laner is oppressive AND your other lanes don't push too hard, it is quite difficult to get kills as kat.

basically, with katarina you don't want to ever try 100-0'ing people. you want fights to break out and then once cooldowns are blown and people are at half health you go in, clean up and get a triple or something stupid like that. getting a kill or assist basically guarantees being able to kill anything near you since you get resets on your cooldowns each time.

the only time you'll ever be able to 100-0 is if you actually get quite ahead and can output enough damage landing your full combo that it's actually possible, or if you're full build in late game you can pretty much obliterate any squishy with your combo.

Farm safely with Q and last hits. Shunpo to a ward placed behind your wave or an ally minion to avoid skill shots. Never shunpo in unless you secure a kill. Your enemy will call for ganks that you shunpo away from and get frustrated, most likely the jungler will ignore your lane. Find a chance to roam to the lane the enemy jungler tries to focus on and triple kill.

Slamming your face into the keyboard is effective, you'll most likely need to buy a new one after the game however. and of course get facial reconstruction.

Nobody is talking about Katarina, lol; just about "skill"

I don't play Katarina so I won't comment much but Katarina is not exactly a champ that's supposed to beat her lane opponent down and kill them. She has a weak laning phase. What you want is to watch the sidelanes and show up and clean up kills (especially bot lane). Doesn't mean laning/farming/trading isn't important but it's not Katarina's strong point.
