So the new Champion Ekko is out, and honestly he has amazing dueling potential. His passive along with the passive from his W makes him extremely deadly. So I started exploring builds with him, and this build seemed to work well.

Ludens Echo Lich Bane Cap Blade of a Ruined King Boots Nashors

While a majority of these items are a given, the reason I added Blade of a Ruined King is to close gaps, and deal passive % max health damage. With this build you deal 20% of max health as basic attack (both ap and ad combined) damage when a targets health drops below 30%. This is only with passives of item and his W. Including all the other on-hit effects it makes for a incredible execute.

Hello!

I've just been running a complete damage build for Ekko. I find that it's a lot easier to get 3 rings on your target by just using your abilities. I usually won't auto attack that much in a combo, unless it's early. You can easily burst people with a lot of AP, and not need to auto attack.

I've been running this as a build...

Ekko Ekko

Build 1: Complete AP Burst item 3285 item 3157 item 3089 item 3100 item 3020 item 3135

**Build 2: **Defensive item 3001 item 3157 item 3158 item 3027 item 3100 item 3285

I personally think that the first build is the strongest for Ekko. However, his survival rates can be extremely low if he doesnt use his W/E/R correctly. I would consider possibly even getting a item 3139 just so I'm not unable to his my ultimate because I'm CC'd by say a Leona or Sejuani . I think that item 3115 is a luxury item. I would really only consider getting it for a dueling build or for fun. I think just building him full burst is a lot better right now than building him as a fighter. I find Ekko's build are extremely similar to Diana . This is more than likely because they basically have the same passive, and similar team fight play styles and other such. Tell me what you guys think of the builds, and what would be better to use.

For jungle Ekko I've been running the following (if the game goes on that long). item 3708 , item 3089 , item 3157 , item 3100 , item 3255 , item 3285 .

you may ask why no item 3135 ? Well, so far I haven't felt the need to get that item based on the fact that games haven't either gone that long, or people aren't building MR right now. I'm also playing jungle Ekko a little like LeeSin . picking and choosing the ganks, ganking when you see the perfect opportunity, or just forcing a flash with your W.

I'm not the king of jungle ekko but that's what I've been running with in games I end up getting him. He's a really fun champion and can get shut down easily with all the stun compositions in the game right now. it's also about playing him smart. he's an assassin not a bruiser. going headlong into the enemy is usually a bad idea.

I am looking into an AP bruiser type build for ekko, but that's still in progress.
