People should stop sticking to the idea that the skin has to fit the champ's theme. If you look at the current skins, almost none of them do. They're alternate versions of the champ and are definitely not canon. They don't "exist" in Runeterra. They can, however, have interactions with eachother (like the maffia skin line).
Nautilus being an astronaut doesn't make much sense. But it's a good pun and made for a great skin.

Actually, Astronautilus is not even a pun. Astronaut and Nautilus are both derived from the greek word ναύτης (nautes in Latin letters), which means "sailor". Thus, an astronaut is a "space-sailor" and Nautilus was probably called like that for being connected to the sea and ships.

I don't care about katarina but yes. If the skin doesn't have anything with the lore,it' s ruining it. that's my opinion.you can maybe have one skin that goes out of it,but abusing of this is just not fine at all.

ModAcademy Kayn2 votesWell frankly your point has no ground. Riot has stated before that skins are not canon to the champs themselves, so why not go off the bar with fun, keyword being fun, and crazy skins like Star Guardian Lux and Arcade Hecarim.
