I was reading the patch history, and just to be sure - his soldiers DONT scale with his attack speed? I'm only wondering b/c I see people building Nashors on him and if they dont scale with attack speed than it seems to be a pointless item. Thanks
Aeko2 votesNo, his attack speed used to scale from building CD Reduction. This was where athenes or Morello's were popular first buys. But they took that away from him, so now people build Nashors because it also gives him CD Reduction which is important for a mage and the atk speed.

Bob Saggit2 votesCorrect, the attack speed, cdr, and decent ap are all effective on azir, so building nashor's first allows you to max q while still maintaining a similar amount of attack speed that you used to get when his passive gave attck speed off of cdr
