Edit: Crit damage or crit chance?

What I really meant to ask was - Does Ashe benefit from crit damage runes?

Don't have the proof on me, but the best DPS is when you have equal amount of crit damage and crit chance. Since you're definitely gonna build an IE, that's a 20% crit chance and 50% crit damage. You'll also build a Phantom Dancer (probably), so that's 55% crit chance and 50% crit damage total. Your support might get Zeke's Herald and give you 100% crit chance.

I'd say crit damage runes are better, but since crit damage runes aren't useful on pretty much anyone else, I'd suggest just using crit chance unless you have nothing else to buy.

I'm not an adc main, but none of the pros run crit damage or chance runes on ashe. They pretty much all run ad marks and attack speed quints. Then they usually run defensive seals and glyphs (usually armor seals and mr glyhps but sometimes they throw in 3 attack speed glyphs, deft takes 3 mana regen glyphs, etc.)

They are okay. Early game more standard ad carry runes are better, and the critical strike damage runes hit their strong point once you finish a big crit item (IE, SS, PD, etc.). The prevailing logic for runes, however, is that early game effectiveness is better because that is when your runes have the most impact on the game. As the game goes on items become more relevant and give you far more stats than you can get from runes. I would personally recommend using the standard ad marks and as quints.
