  1. Runes are your friend.
  2. Armor runes are reeeeeaaaally good friends.
  3. Try out Warwick.
  4. When jungling with a single target damage dealer (like Warwick), attack the small monsters first.
  5. Don't push yourself early. If you can take 3 camps, back immediately and buy a Trailblazer.

Udyr Max R and 2nd max shield. You'll never die to a camp again. Get purple cinderhulk, item 3078item 3110 item 3742 item 3111 item 3065, not in that order.

youtube stonewall008 and foxdrop, they have some decent videos that can help you learn foxdrop also has past broadcasts on twitch.tv so even if he isn't streaming at the time you can watch a past broadcast to get some tricks. Warwick isn't a troll pick right now if you go sated devourer and he has always been one of the champs people suggest as a beginner learning jungle bc w/ his q and auto sustain from passive he is almost impossible to die with in the jungle.

Depending on what champ you're playing there are tons of options you can run for runes but if you're not comfortable in the jungle you want 9 flat armor yellows every time. For reds you're looking at attack speed, AD, or Armor pen because these are the only runes that help you do more damage to camps and get fast clears. If you get comfortable in the role (which I'm guessing you won't bc it seems like you're only playing it when you have to and not bc you like it) then you can play w/ different roles and different builds (for instance I've been a big fan of mpen reds/armor yellows/flat AP blues and quints on amumu and going item 3724 rush because he clears so fast with the ap and it lets you have a bit more damage for early ganks while not hurting your mid game team fighting too much if you go straight into tank after that; been getting good damage results and being reasonably tanky w/ item 3724 item 3116 item 3742 item 3001 1k hp, 50 armor and mr, 220 ap plus .3 ap ratio on auto which you should be doing for the passive, and more mpen).

Also I'd generally go item 3713 on all jungle champs if you're struggling w/ jungle, but item 3715 is pretty awesome on Warwick and so you can go that way bc it's better for fighting and he can survive the jungle easy, it'll just slow down your clear speed a bit. Also go attack speed reds on WW for sure, synergy w/ devourer.

Any of the Devourer junglers are super OP and take pretty much no skill to play, so you should try those out.

best thing to do if ur new to jungle is clear camps in a custom game so you can practice your first clear as many times as you need to with as little down time as possible, practice makes perfect and this lets you experiment :D first clear is most important :D

Warwick is very easy to get you used to jungle. Get movespeed quints, attack speed marks, armor seals, and glyphs of scaling MR. Do 15/15/0 masteries. Go W first and start at Gromp. Spell priority is R>Q>W>E. Go item 3713 for sustain but you can go item 3706 or item 3715. Go Devourer or Cinderhulk. Second item after your jungle item should always be item 3153 . For boots item 3111 or item 3047. For armour items item 3068 if you didn't get cinderhulk and both item 3143 and item 3742 are good. For resistance go item 3065 and item 3102. When your done with that finish your item build with item 3748 , item 3091 , item 3078, or a supportive item like item 3190 . Stonewall008, Pantsaredragon, and Foxdrop are great streamers/youtubers to get you comfortable in the jungle role.

There's 3 styles to jungling. Farm jungling, counter jungling and gank jungling. Every champion has one style they excel at, one they are mediocre at and one they are weak or inept in.

Junglers such as Warwick , Nunu , Udyr & Rengar are fairly straight forward in their play styles.

Warwick is a Farm/counter jungle champion. He can duel people but he'd rather just farm their camps. He needs his ultimate up before he can realistically apply pressure to a lane, but he is great at controlling objectives such as scuttle crab and dragon. Counter jungling Warwick is usually ineffective as he is almost always healthy during his clears. Nunu is a counter/farm jungler. Like Warwick he is relatively healthy throughout his clears and clears at a moderate pace. But due to his smite+consume combo he can steal enemy buffs and dragons with ease. Not to mention he can hide in a bush while the enemy is fighting a buff monster and then hit them hard with his subzero. Nunu is pretty weak in the late game but played properly he is a constant thorn in the enemy junglers side. Udyr is fairly well balanced in terms of style. His primary function is as a counter jungler first and a farm jungler second but his ganking isn't horrible. His ganking is just very predictable as he just runs really fast at you stuns you and then beats on you until the stun wears off. While he is a counter jungler like Nunu, Udyr is much more likely to let you get the buff and then show up and kill you for it. And if you try to run away he will chase you down. He's pretty versatile too in what abilities you want to max and what items to build on him. Rengar Rengar is a gank oriented jungler who also dabbles in counter jungling. If you're playing passively and staying inside your own jungle and farming all day then you're not playing Rengar to his strengths. Rengar has burst to his kit and he controls objectives through fear and intimidation. If you can get into the enemy jungle early and set them behind or take a massive chunk out of their life bar then you did your job. If you kill them even better. His ultimate allows him to sense any nearby threats too and makes his ganking all the more deadly.

I was absolutely terrified of the jungle for around four or five months, and would be lucky to make it past the first camp (keep in mind this was before the preseason 5 changes, so jungling was EASIER than it is now). My friends eventually convinced me to buy Warwick, who they said was the easiest jungler to use (which is true). It was a bots game, and even though I cleared my camps without getting my ass handed to me, I still did relatively poorly. I can't remember when I started doing better in the jungle, to be honest. You would definitely want to buy Warwick, because he's the easiest jungler to use, as I said before. Amazing sustain, good ganks at level 6, and one of the strongest duelists in the game once he gets a few items. Someone else you should look into as Cho'Gath. If you max E first, and get a dagger (which you should build into Devourer later on), you'll have ridiculous damage, so if anyone tries to invade you and kill you you can just destroy them with a few auto attacks. As of today, jungling is my second best and second favorite role, next to top lane. I recommend jungling with Warwick first though, as he's a little simpler to use than Cho'Gath is. Hope this helped you and got you into jungling.

Hey, there is nothing to be ashamed about, some people just dont catch on so quickly. I cant give you any real tips because i am just a "Decent" jungler compared to the rest of my friends. But i can tell you how i learned basics.

i Decided to Pick a Streamer that jungled very well, i ended up picking up his champions and working with his strats. i looked at his jungle clears and what he used to clear them. I looked at what he did with his screen (moving it from lane to lane for map awareness)

My favorite jungle streamer would be Shaclone (Shaco main) He taught me the basics of the new Jungle just by watchng him. THEN once i got the grasp of how the jungle works and ganking with shaco, i picked up other champs and put in my own builds and playstyles. Its funny how one champion can be the key to learning a whole role. And by no means is it shameful to copy from a pro such as Shaclone or Pinkward.

Goodluck in the Battlefield my friend. if you want to chat feel free to add me ingame. (Caytheles)

Personal Tip: if you want to clear jungles faster and work on your jungle farming. take Trailblazer upgrade.

If you have the right masteries you can jungle with most champions easily. I recommend as a starter jungler you should go Nunu (my second fav currently) because of his Q, which is basically a second smite, and also helps a quite a bit for sustain and early dragons. Warwick has been mentioned as a good choice but you need to understand how versatile his build paths are. You always get boots of mobility and put one point at level 5 on his E so you can chase to ult for your teammates to catch up. Always go devourer and 95% of the time go trailblazer depending on who you're against. The main thing you and any others who will happen to come across my comment is that you should get the right masteries in defence, they are the top right corner of defence and the one below it(not very specific I know) and they will make you take less damage from the monsters and also do more damage to them. Hope this helps a bit!
