What do you do when you have nothing to do?

Kill a jungle camp like Golems, Gromp or Raptors. If you aren't support buy the level 2 warding trinket because it recharges wards while you're out on the field and just run around warding, ward the little bush by raptors and the river brush by baron or dragon. Every ward counts and it gives you something to do.

defend my own stuff and work towards catching up to or surpassing the enemy in gold. warding the jungle and killing enemies off guard as a team usually helps

create an opportunity? be bait, get chased, try to steal enemy camps, dance party in the dragon pit, flame teammates

The question is so vague really, what type of situation are you talking about.

If I'm on respawn? Try to do pushups. get some exercise.

If losing but still have some map control - farming or warding If losing with no map control - waiting to defend or trying to get map control If winning - try to force a fight or objective.

If you have nothing to do then either you are about to lose the game, like stuck in base waiting for minions, or you are maxed build with pots and maxed out trinket. Both those situations are self explanatory but if you feel like you have nothing to do mid to late game then you are not farming enough. Watch any LCS game, even when running away from champs the will farm. I esp enjoy watching faker play nid where he will be running away but grabbing wolves and creeps on the way. FARM

If there are no objectives then you've probably won the game. In that case you probably need to hit the Home button on the post-game screen. Then hit play, and pick the game preferences of your choice, and continue on to the next game.

But in all seriousness, there is always an objective. Shoving lanes, Warding, Dragon and Baron, Gold, Team-fighting, catching people out, preparing for your next fight.

I don't know how much this can help, but whenever I can't seem to find anything to do I always ask my self, what is the best I could do for my team right now. I just killed the enemy laner, and my bot just got a double. Dragon seems to be up, and the enemy jungler is top.

You ward, clear out enemy wards, and farm jungle camps/lane minions. during this time, you also try to look for picks (meaning you try to ambush the enemy when they're alone) then after a successful pick, u push down the closest lane and try to take turrets/inhibs.
