How Should You Support Against A Mordekaiser?

Like the title says, I'm looking for tips on what to do when there's a Mordekaiser bot on the enemy team. So far I've had very limited success with Janna. It's mostly been me shielding the adc and knocking him and his support up when they engage. But I haven't been able to win lane against him, only not lose lane so badly that we're completely out.

So I'm wondering about support styles. Mordekaiser seems to just shrug off poke with his healing, so do we need to just all in him? (His burst seems pretty high though, so that seems dangerous too). Or is this one of those match ups where you need to wait for jungle ganks?

You have to realize that not losing lane is winning lane against morde adc. Morde can be kited so easily that when it comes down to late game an adc should be doing better than him because the adc is ranged. So even going even in lane is bad for morde.

As for countering morde you have the right idea. Peels and shields since he has extreme damage and is easy to kite are his weakness (mostly peels though)

Anyone who can get him off or away from your ADC. Janna Alistar Blitzcrank Braum Lulu Morgana Zyra Thresh Nami Considering you know where he will be, it makes peeling much easier because you know where to aim your hard CC.

Pretty much not lose a lane. And watch out for his lvl 6 cheese. He ha strong lvl6 and will get it before you and you ADC. So, try to keep your ADC's farm around morde's and don't give him kills, and you're fine. Also watch out if he uses Q twice on minion and his support engages, because third Q deals load of DMG

You need heavy cc or an insane amount of poke... which he may sustain through the poke now these days.

Just don't lose lane. Even the weakest ADC can outscale Morde due to range alone.

All you have to do is kite back. Do not let him get on your adc even for a second.
