Why are there 100x more predators than any other champions?

Every single game I played this week was the same. 4 or 5 people started to build predators. All of them gets 3 silver predators before I can get my first silver champion. By the time I get my second silver champion at least two of them has gold predator champion. I collect 1 gold champions so I reroll at low level. I hit nothing despite noone collects those champions. Guess what class I see the most during my rerolls? Predators!
