Why Glacial and not Iceborn?

All the glacial champions are from Freljord, so why not call it Iceborn, like in the lore?

You can say that about almost any of the origins, with a few outliers.

Noble is all demacian sans Leona (I'm pretty sure she isnt)

Imperial are all Noxians

Maybe some other nonsense... the naming was prob for familiarity with other autobattler games as well as leaving room for champions (like leona) to fit in with another region.

Although I cant see someone having ice/glacial powers without being from the freljord

Riot August said on his stream that they definitely didn't go for lore accuracy, but the looks. Morgana and Brand look like demons? Well, they're demons now. Leona looks noble even though she is not Demacian? Boom, she's noble. Did you ever wonder why they picked Arclight Vayne instead of her base skin? Because it looks more noble. Cutthroat Graves looks more pirate-y than base, so they chose this skin.

The reason for all this is to give new players a better experience, you don't need to be familiar with the lore to deduce that Varus is a demon (even though he isn't really one.)
