Why is Force of Nature wearable?
Or more accurately why does its affect work from the benches? I just had a 10 champ game where I didn't put FoN on any champ.
Shouldn't the affect only work if worn? Why bother making it wearable then?

They probably figure no one will ever have enough items for its passive to interfere with item spacing. It's not like it has an in combat effect at all...
Cause they have many items that are broken in their coding from the bench / item bench. I've put Ionic spark on champions on my bench and it still goes off. So they've still got issues to work out that's why this is a BETA.
Because it would cause issues if you sold the champion it was attached to and the bench was full etc.
Rather than having to code in special interactions for every time your team could go up or down a size while it's being moved around they just used a linear approach that the item is always on.
I did not know it worked on the bench, thats good to know.
Actually, its pretty cool because you can use it as a decoy item.. if you have a champ you know you can keep farther away and not impact the game, put it on em and corner them and hope hextech disables it (since it is the one item hextech won't impact).
