It seemed it was being gated by riot today. When it first hit it was instant, then there was a 5 min wait then it was instant... then a 10 min wait, then instant... then a 20 min wait, then instant... it just kept going up as the day progressed. This was consistent as well, played games back to back but only got in 6 games before the queue was murder and not worth the hour+ wait.
