Then we can position for our opponents, possibly giving strategy some relevance in tft. There's already enough luck involved with units and items all being random. We don't need to also fight random opponents with random set ups and just blindly hope we don't run into unfavorable matchups that we're mis-positioned for. It wouldn't be the worst thing for players to actually have to think a little bit in a _tactics _ game and be rewarded for making good decisions rather than be rewarded for being lucky.

I just had such a game! Three other players with three completely different comps and set-ups. It's so stressful.

Yea, I experience this in most games. Rather than committing to the same general positioning for the entire game (until the 1v1 at the end) due to not knowing who you're facing and auto losing to specific players, you should have the ability to make adjustments.
