Worlds Support Champion Diversity

I have watched over 20 Worlds matches this year and I have started to notice a trend in the 6 support champions that are being played every game.

Thresh Hook Blitzcrank Hook Pyke Hook Nautilus Hook Morgana Black shield to counter hook Rakan Great engage

Now I'm no genius, but I think I'm seeing a trend... Am I the only one who has noticed this?

"every game" blitz has been played in one game? maybe two at most? hell yummi has been played more than him but you don't mention her?

43 games have been played at worlds. Granting a MAX of 430 picks.

81 Champions out of 145 have been picked.

68 picks are the champions you called out, which is 15.81% of the total 430 (Between 6 champions) Idk is 15-16% is equal to 100% of the diversity.

But to be more fair 68/86 for support only is 79% however, that is still between 6 champions and naut did not exclusively go support this also disregards the many times Ali/Yummi/and Shen were banned.

I'd argue with no bans that they as a collective 6 would be ~55% presence which for 6 champions is acceptable.

81 Champions is nice IMO, you can't expect all champions to be strong at once. Just seeing them periodically should be nice. I'm still waiting for my Shyvana to Show up.
I'd hold your argument till after worlds , because these are the playins, most of these teams have nothing figured out and are fodder for the teams that will make the real META.

Exact numbers below enjoy. Hooks are fun to watch logic~ they even tried to nerf yuumi so she wouldnt appear, didn't work. (yuumi is flawed by design) Poke and Enchanter's are not as good rn, they're way more squishy, provide less engage cc and do about the same damage as hook supports. (Poke do more, Enchanters do less)

Poke sups aren't reliable enough, you have to land a lot of spells to outpoke the tanky hook boy. Which is harder to do against good players who can dodge skillshots. Enchanters utility numbers aren't high enough early, and while they can survive the lane if they avoid getting hooked, one mistake or if they flash engage will get an enchanter/adc killed usually. Both of these types are easy to tower dive as well, which can happen in proplay.

Imo hook sups base stats are too high for having the best engage cc
