I really enjoy this new patch

I know no one will care about my opinion, and that I'm just a small voice in a sea of millions, but I personally really enjoy the new variety of gameplay that this patch brings.

Agreed, this patch is my favorite since maybe launch. This meta feels good to me (it helps that I love gunslingers & knight comps). Now hurry up and bring ranked back up!

Yeah new patch is really really good. New items are good. Void changes are good. Shapeshifter nerf is good. Glacial still obnoxious but a bit less because they nerfed ashe and braum mana and sej stun duration

How can this patch be liked at all? Its destroyed ranked play and the ability to put together comps in any way.

How so? I think going yordles is made easier, more items means more variability, void + sorc/assn arent as OP and ranger + glacial arent as OP. Kiasa is a fun unit too and brings more comps into play.

For one I dont feel like i'm even playing against anyone, it could be AI for all i know or a damn video slot/poker machine in vegas.

The game doesn't even follow its own rules: "set amount of units that will return to play"... ever hyper rolled 50g and NOT gotten the third unit you need to piece together a comp that NO one else is using? ... happens all the time. shapeshifters is still OP, kaisa is boring and ineffective. Nobles is worthless despite being the hardest comp to string together, yet a simple shifters comp beats it out easily? terrible.

The worst part honestly is the fact that you have ZERO impact on the game, its basically waiting for 30-60 minutes to find out if you all your luck lined up. Ever have a semi decent comp and then get to dragon that drops an item that is for a trait you havent seen all game? But everyone around you gets items that tilt the board in their favor while that shiny new item rots on your board with zero impact. BROKEN as ever.

I disagree with most of what you said. Just don't play it if you don't enjoy it. My post is about the patch, which I believe to be good. Your post is crossing into the entire game of TFT.

I DID enjoy it very much before the patch...I put in a lot of my time to play and rank up, almost to Gold - then the patch dropped and i'm silver 4 now... So my time is wasted. I've tried everyone's "advice" to "adapt" and NONE of it works. The patch broke the game plain and simple.

That's nice that you can ignorantly and blindly disagree... its all true, because it took place after the patch. Nice attempt at straw-manning the points i've made.

This is an opinionated post and I don't give two shits about your opinion, nor was it asked for, nor do I want to argue about a fucking video game patch with a child on the internet. Hurr durr I'm an idiot for replying to this I know. It's a video game mate. Enjoy it or don't play it. Not everyone is going to enjoy every single patch in every single game. I for one enjoy this one. You do not. Stop trying to dissect my argument with the straw-man claim then telling me I'm ignorant. Just, get a life kid.

This patch is the best so far, hands down. I don't know if there was a single thing changed that wasn't an improvement, and some of them were direct answers to the community (glacial nerf, MF targeting, etc.)
