The support minion rule shouldn't go into effect when mega minions are live

I generally main Brand as a support player, especially when my team needs waveclear or AP. But even when I'm playing any sort of support other than damage dealers, I am sometimes required to defend the base against mega minions (or minions in general) late game when the rest of my team is busy doing other things. I would love to stay with my team and have someone else clear the massive waves crashing against our inner towers/ inhibs, but that is sometimes not the case.

When I am assigned to do so, I suffer drastically from the support minion rule that inhibits my CS gain even though come late game I am one of the few players left who actually needs the gold. My 8 item AD no longer needs it, or sometimes I am simply having a great game and my team would like to see me get stronger to carry the game, even though I am in the support role. Whatever the situation may be, I do not see the reason why someone with the support item should be inhibited by the minion support role when mid to late game arrives, especially since game times are becoming shorter and shorter due to damage creep currently in the game. Past a certain point it doesn't effect anyone but actual supports. Has little to no effect on other laners who might take the support item since they will be deterred from taking it already due to the drastic early game impact from receiving substantially less CS.

I do not take CS early game, on any support, at any time, unless I am SUPPORTING my team by doing so and when it is required by all means. Do not make us suffer by playing support. Doesn't matter if I'm Brand, Lulu, Naut, Blitz, etc., sometimes I have to clear waves and I shouldn't be punished past the 20 min mark for doing so.
