[Suggestion] Add an auction round for items
I think it'd be really interesting to add silent auctions for items during TFT matches.
Similar to the carousel rounds, all players are teleported to the center and see a single random item offered at the center of the stage. A silent auction is then held, where players must type down the value they'd be willing to bid for that item. They have 10 seconds to bid and cannot see the bids of other players before the time is up. Whoever bids the most buys the item.
Although I anticipate many players simply bidding all their gold on really good items such as recurve bow, spatula, or any combined item, the players with the most gold on hand tend to be those on losing or winning streaks. A new meta may also form around saving up gold or selling off unneeded champions before auction rounds.
Riot seems to be severely underestimating the value of items if they think 1-2 gold is adequate compensation, so it'd be really interesting to see how many players would be willing to drop 40-60g on one.
