I really find it just super impressive, the way item building works. You have all these options! And then only two are good. Dragon's Fang and Phantom Dancer, must-have or you lose, doesn't matter what build or items you have. You need those. Every single team build recommendation shows those two items on LITERALLY EVERYBODY.
I mean.... league's recommend items almost all include one or two defensive items of each type.
That doesn't mean they're the only items that are good.
Also I've won a shit ton of games without building these two items. They're not necessary for victory.
Sometimes the best defense is a good offense, and vice versa. You have to play each match as if its unique -- because it is.
stacking lockets also doesnt suck. I see all the time where some lucky bastard has managed to get 3 or 4 of them in a match. god forbid its an assassin comp, thatll give you aids.
