Glad to see Pyke got a non-nerf

So you gave pyke's ult a higher mana cost but simultaneously raised his starting mana. You've done nothing to Spear of shojin, the item that breaks pyke in this gamemode. You've only made him more reliant on the item and worse off without it.

Wouldn't those changes make every ult after the first come out later?

That’s what i mean. He’s worse without SoJ, but no one plays pyke WITHOUT SoJ.

He's still worse with Spear of Shojin, unless I'm mistaken on how mana per attack functions. Each champion generates up to 10 mana per attack (except sorcerers). That gets added to the SoJ bonus (if I'm not mistaken).

That means pre-nerf Pyke with SoJ needed 4 attacks to fully charge his mana,

100 * 15% + 10 = 25 per attack 100 / 25 = 4

while post-nerf Pyke needs 5.

125 * 15% + 10 = 28,75 per attack 125 / 28,75 = 4,3

It does. WITHOUT SoJ.

But with SoJ nothing changes because SoJ is % based and works the same speed regardless.

it is absolutely a near if you dont get to stack SoJ on Pyke. But SoJ stacking pyke is still busted as hell.

They shouldn't have increased his starting mana at all. I understand what they wanted to attempt but they didn't address the problem in the right ways.

His starting mana should have stayed at 50 with his ult cost increased to 125. Also they should have reduced his stun duration for ranks 1 and 2.

the whole shojin item aside, i think pyke's stun shouldnt do damage or limit it to like 2 tiles distance. im tired of full map jumps stunning my whole team, and by the time its over hes going to jump again

Pyke is just not level 2 unit material. His spell is totally out of whack, in terms of relative power, to other 2-cost units. He's a 4 cost unit going for half price.

Nerf the width of the stun.
