Maybe I'm just bad, but I feel like hextech buff is just bad for the game. It forces you to position yourself awkwardly, opening yourself up to just be destroyed by the 3 people that always spam assassins every game. ONE person playing hextech can completely fuck a superiorly built team and comp. It's just stupid as hell.
Heroboy101 votesI was thinking like you till I learnt something about positioning. Split your team and put a weak unit behind your carry to distract assassins. Put items on many units if you can.
Also hextech buff can be a trouble against a protected full items Ashe.
BTW I never use Hextech units.
CloudedLogic1 votesIf I ever have a problem with hex tech it's because the got a lucky hit and got my carry over the 3 or 4 other items I have out.
If you have force of nature, or are saving a spatula for one that you know you aren't going to use I put it on a throw away unit.
I only use hex tech I am using jinx or vi already, so I fit either camille or jayce in. But I literally have watched people get hit over and over with it because they have a bunch of item less units in front and three units in the rear with all of their items, and they refuse the move them.
