Rageblade effectively made useless after patch/in current meta?

Fights are ending so fast that you really don't have the time to build up attack speed + currently there's just so many better items building off of recurve bows: RFC, cursed blade, phantom dancer, botrk, static shiv.

Perhaps an early rageblade might give you a lead but even then, after the early-game I really don't see any reason to build it over other bow items + the other items are already strong early as well.

looks to me like the recurve bow options are too OP. the build paths you get out of it are just ridiculous.

Still works pretty well on the champs it was originally intended for to scale heavily off attack speed and spellpower like Lulu and Trist. You have to realize it also increases your mana gain as the fight goes on so it definitely has its uses on some champs. Its not as great as it sounds on Vayne because she doesn't benefit from mana gain and Vayne falls off later in the game.
