Thoughts on Autofill
So we all know the issue of autofill and the problems it can cause in champ select. I'm wondering though if blaming the person who "doesn't play (insert role) so don't get mad if I feed" is really the right response.
League has become a huge game with 134 champions now and combined with the monthly patches, can equal a steep learning curve for players. Even for veteran players it's hard to keep up with practicing a lot of champions and being good on them while some of them are being buffed/nerfed/reworked monthly.
If you're a serious player and focusing on gaining elo then league requires a lot of time and effort. I think a majority of players already feel that focusing on being good at two roles is difficult enough.
With autofill now there's a chance of getting any role so it brings up a few questions:
- Should players who focus/play only one or a few champions be penalized for that play style?
- Is blaming the person who's being honest in telling the team that they're not good/experienced at (insert role) justified?
- Would you rather want someone to play what they're good at or do you want them playing what they're not good at cause that's what was given to them?
What do you guys think?
