Please clarify on front page that que delay means just for one game not to get into playing a game

I thought waiting for 1.5 hours was to get into being able to play. I got one game to try the new mode and obviously didn't even know what was happening just beginning to learn and then 10 mins its over and.... it resets 90 min !!??? I would not have waited for that its totally absurd
