Extremely Immature players since a week ago - something changed

Has anyone noticed this ? I know they changed ranked q. I have had the worst teammates consistently in 70% + all games. It's untenable. It seems like I'm playing with 8 year olds. They quit and stand in base after dying and more early surrenders than I've ever seen. Also whining complaining trying to quit within 5 minutes of the game starting. Not bad players like what that used to mean, but immature people who are extremely emotional and flame and ragequit or troll. What happened ? I looked up if there was an adults only server but I guess this will never happen. I like the game, but this is making me want to find something else. Is DOTA like this or are the players older ? I've played since season 3.

It is March, which means much of North America is on Spring Break within the current and next couple weeks, thus younger players will have more time to play League than they normally do.

An all adult server sounds nice. I mean I know that would split the player base some, slow que times. But I really rather just have a nice quality game. I mean I don't even rage at people, sometimes at end lobby I will say something if i feel it needs to be said. But a lot of the time I feel like they are just ignoring everyone's pings/ calls for help. Or they just really do not know basic play in the elo they are in. I haven't been playing as long as the majority. But I am currently trying to climb in silver, oddly enough i get a lot of level 30 first time ranked in my games. Then they just end up getting run down. I had the same thing I got placed silver v my first time doing ranked. After that I did not touch ranked cause i got destroyed in every game. So like after a few games went back to just norms. I think this is one thing Riot should fix. I cannot even see why they do it does anyone know? I mean maybe back when the game started sure not many champs or items/builds to learn but it is so different now. So many things to learn.

I wish some of my teams would surrender earlier. Just take the loss and move on brah. But nope. Get trapped. Can't leave. Can't say shit. Can't AFK. Stuck. Then it makes me just hate people and this game. Then there's people like you who cry about people wanting to move on, let me tell you something, if someone has initiated the surrender vote, chances are they aren't going to be very useful, so by not surrendering you are trapping people in games and that is not cool. You wanna win so bad, get out of the losing game asap. Oh but that one dude that doesn't surrender can carry the whole team! Yeah right lol. Good luck with that.

I honestly don't see a noticable spike in bad behavior until Summer though. All the toddlers get their summer vacation lol. I think most kids we end up playing with are at least courteous enough to not use the chat or only use it at a basic level to communicate, you have to figure with a free to play game we encounter teens and kids everyday.

The game has become significantly more competitve but also easier to play out via snowball and high damage. Small mistakes early cause heavy backlash and lower winchances more than they used to.

it has to do with the ranked split up they did forcing people to play 5 different roles. Autofills were happening all over and people were off rolling and causing system abuse and trolling on purpose in games they were filled in. I had an account that was very mmr sensitive and it took a lot of effort to get it to gold mmr after suffering a lot of losses from bad people last season. Ended pre season at gold 2 and it was probably around a gold 4 mmr.

The new season started off okay but once i ran into the constant games with people losing on purpose i just dropped fast, im like 20 games in wins under my losses now and the account is basically dead.

Its losing like 25 lp and gaining like 12 and its sitting at gold 4 so it probably has like silver 4 mmr. Even though i play like a plat player.

Their new system basically killed my account, sad to lose an old account that had so many skins on it i liked.

So i just started a new one and im leveling it up :/. But yeah the new system allowed for a lot of bad players and trolls to force games to lose early. They also never reset mmr and the games were wildly off, like my enemy bot lane would be a duo and both gold 2, probably smurfs, and my bot lane is silver 1/2 players...

Idk...

It's riot games, I expect dog shit from them now i guess, they stopped running the game right after season 5 with the release of dynamic queue in season 6... but then again, no company ever runs their game right forever, eventually they all slip up and make some kind of mistakes.

It's not just NA, it has been happening on EUNE too... I was g2 7 days ago, I am silver 2 right now and gaining 12 lp per victory, ofc if u can get a victory. I've been playing duo with my friend for ages now, and i swear (few games as an exeption) every game we are the only 2 fed, example i beat nasus so hard that he is 0-7 but i lose the game. Next game im solo queue, 14-6-16 i think with rammus a f'ing tank and my team has following scores, 9-10, 2-8, 0-9, 5-11 so tell me riot how am i supose to win anything with every game like this? I've been inting last 20 games maybe but thats just cuz im so mad about these people that i give up as soon as one of them starts inting, and i swear this happens every game. Yea it was always bad but not like this, they f'd up the ranked somehow, I had worse seasons and i never got 12 lp per victory, like never ever. I wasn't playing bad, I was g2 ffs and fell to s2 in a week to eleven days, are u fcking kidding me? I forgot to play the game all of a sudden? RIOT FIX THE GAME, NOBODY WILL PLAY IT IN A YEAR OR TWO

In a RANKED game... a player gets autofilled into support, demands to be given adc, the adc kindly says no, the person locks in Vayne anyway and starts with doran's blade. When asked about it, the player says "I'm a damage support". So now we have two adcs in bot lane and you can imagine how well that went. It absolutely blows my mind how Riot can allow people to get away with such behavior.

In AZ spring break is March 2 -10. So I imagine alot of kids are on spring break. I usually play League at like 2 am anyways so i typically avoid them. Games are so much quieter, it's nice.

I've been getting harassed by teammates like in one of my matches (thank god it's normal draft) for falling behind in a lot of cs to tristana and Malphite used that as an excuse so he could "build" full ap and sell his trinket (he was the support) and kept saying how far behind I was in cs and said "GG" and again blamed me for being behind in cs. Look, I was rusty in last hitting with ranged champions and a bit harder with vayne (plus my ping was spiking sometimes) and I'd rather play it safe against a tristana and blitz than feed or get caught out. Love those people who play full ap "support" and disregard buying the support trinket items, and also the ironic point when the support flames me, at least I didn't try to go to aggressively in that game than him.

Mh, I had a Fiora (with skin, so she was very proud) that was doing well. She pushed top and was the most pushed lane, so of course, she is priority #1 and also being quickly in danger so close to the enemy nest (= base). She died twice, she is 4/4/0 and posts a surrender on a 24-26 game. She did not even wait the surrender, when the second red bar popped up "FIORA HAS QUIT". She fought almost close to the base - her goal. We were equal in kills and obectives = our goal. Her deed: Surrendering and quitting. What is wrong with these crap players?

I know what you mean, man. RIOT's non-existant reporting feature won't do jack shit, so turn on some movie and try to get the time past when you are being held hostage without yourself getting leavermarks..

Ok so Rester hasn't noticed a change but Spring Break may explain a small portion. It is however worse than I've ever seen it. I know that they reset high ELO ranks because somehow lower level players got in there. Is it possible that Iron players who are there because of behavior shifted upwards when they awarded people their highest positional rank ?
