dear rito, can you at least improve the LP gain/loss system a little bit

I am in D2 and I can understand in upper leagues players lose more lp finishing 8th place than they gain finishing 1st place. However it is really overweighted atm. I lost 28lp for finishing 6th place, and gains 26lp for finishing 2nd place. I lost over 60lp in a single game finishing 8th place. And even if I get 2 straight 2nd places that does not grant me 60lp. It's not easy to finish 2nd place in diamond games. It feels like I barely get rewarded for my good decision making/good luck etc. and get punished extremely severely for my bad decisions/bad luck. To me it feels like the best thing to do to remain my rank is to not play at all. Bc if I perform averagely in a D2 game I will get demoted. If I perform significantly above D2 I can barely remain in D2. And I have to perform significantly above D2 skill level to climb up in rank at all. That means one's rank does not reflect his/her skill level. How does this LP system even make sense?

In TFT, hard work does not pay off, but instead harms you. If I perform My friend and I was in D1 weeks ago. He was frustrated by the LP system and quitted playing. He has only played 200 ranked games and still in D1, I played 600 ranked games and now almost demoted to D3. Since he's ranked above me, the ranked system suggests that he's a better player at this game. How does even make sense at all? The more I play the more unskilled I become? Why would I ever play another ranked game ffs

It doesn't make sense at all the game is awful. They want people to stay at the same rank while struggling to maintain it as well.

Not to mention the length of the matches. Imagine spending 35+ mins just to get 8th place and lose 60 + LP. OR maybe spend 45+ mins just to get top 2 and barely gain any LP. Really bad feeling.
