That stuff pays for things like having a new team dedicated to TFT, which by the way is a great, free game.

We're so used to free games nowadays and forget how just 10 years ago we all went to the store and paid 50-60$ for a single game that we would stop playing after we finished it.

If you don't want to pay for it, don't, and be grateful that you don't have to do it to enjoy the whole game. But trying to sabotage Riot is just a low thing to do after you're getting all this for nothing.

Fact is, people want to buy it but not at that price and they'd probably make more by reducing the cost, especially since there are even more legends to come yet it currently can take over 20k RP to get ONE legendary. That's just nuts.

Assuming you only buy $50 worth of RP each time, 20k RP is equal to $138... for a cosmetic small pet thing.

People dont want price reduction, they want pay for what they want instead of paying for the chance of getting what they want. Buying things is becomning a game on it self. The game being free is not a valid argument in defense of lottery system.

Lottery as the only means of obtaining items is predatory sales practice, that's all. If you want to sell cute pets then sell cute pets, at any price point you feel people will pay. But don't sell a loot box with a CHANCE of getting the cute pet people want. Just let us buy the darned pets. Lottery is okay in some circumstances especially with funbux like blue essence, but riot points are real money, so this is scummy.

If you go to the store to buy an apple and someone offers you a mystery fruit bag for the cost of an apple, you have a right to be annoyed. Just let us buy the apple we want. It ain't hard.
