I was having a really good game yesterday going 6 beserker and some wardens. Wasn't enough to beat a Mage comp with Mountain and Wardens.
BUT WHEN I GO MAGE, MOUNTAIN, WARDEN, WITH AMUMU AND 2 SPATULAS, IT'S NOT ENOUGH TO EVEN GET 7TH. OK GAME, YOU LITERALLY MAKE ZERO SENSE. IF MAGE IS SO GOOD, WHY DOES IT SUCK?
I guess you are talking about the classic comp: 3 mage + 4 ocean + 2 Mountain, because 6 mages is so OP now that beat everything.
You lost with 6 berserkers because 4 wardens is very strong against AD damage like berserkers, rangers, blademasters.
You lost with the classic 3 mage comp because:
You need 2 stars Brand with items and he is the only carry.
Lights + 2 Soulbound, assassins, 6 Mages beat this classic comp.
maybe the other players got magic resist or poison to counter your mage build.
You need items big time on mages... & yeah if you aren't flexing them on the best carries like brand/syndra or bringing veigar to statistical outlier you are gonna be feeling the pain.
