Like I get why they made all champions draw from the same pool. So we don't have matches with a Pyke on every team. But it is so annoying that one single other player building the same champion as you almost guarantees (depending on champion rarity) that you can't 3* it until they're dead. Increase the number of copies of each card in the pool.
Knowing when to high roll to get the priority units faster is part of the skilled judgements you have to make in TFT.
That would defeat the purpose of rerolling.
If you increase the number of copies of each unit, you, significatively, decrease the " high risk, high reward " aspect of it.
Managing the timing and the frequency of your rerolls is an important skill in TFT. Having a limited amount of units in the shared pool, at any given moment, is what makes rerolling kinda hard to execute and separates decent players from really good players, when it comes to building up a lead in the game.
You can have multiple tier 3 of any 1g unit, if I'm not mistaken?
