Can we get like, 3 seconds more between last lock-in and game start?

Rune shards make it take slightly longer to tailor your rune page to the opponents you're facing. 3 seconds should just about cover the two you're changing plus clicking "save".

I'd prefer it there was an option to remove ALL of the animations from the rune selection screen, not most of them, so I don't have to spend time waiting for that.

No, I have low spec mode activated and it takes me 2 minutes to change runes just because i have to wait for the fancy animation that lags like a bitch on my laptop, the client has been somewhat fixed in the last patches but it's just slightly less garbage now. The game itself is less demanding than the stupid client holy shit

My comps pretty good and it lags as well ONLY in the rune selection page, usually if between em saving and doing some minor changes, than it lags like a mofo even if I turn on low specs.

If I had to guess it has to do with riots save feature communicating with server that causes the lag since it only happens if you change runes too fast or save than change runes.

but should a Company completely base their product around a small percentage of poor bois? I feel for you, when I was younger I played R6 gold on 56k with a compaq presario, but I didn't get on the r6 forums to tell the developers to stop making their game/interface better. I dealt with it until i upgraded xD

Except for the fact that they made a low spec mode and it doesn't help much at all, so if people want to complain about it and tell Riot to make a better low spec mode so they can actually do anything in the client then let them. And you don't know the number of players that use low spec mode on the client or have toasters, so you can't really use that argument.

i will get hate for it but: no just no f off. im sick and tired of the (what feels like) 90% of ppl who literally have "i only play champ xy" in their name, hover that champ and dont look in until the last second FOR NO REASON!!!

I personnaly want those second for aram lobby, not for rune setup but for summoner spell. If their is a mundo, a swain, a vald or any high healing champ, i would love having the time to take ignite (or mostly my team having the time as I always take it in case of that scenario), same for high cc comp a cleanse could be more effective than the default flash/snowball many player take by default.

3 more second in aram (after comp are locked and revealed) could change the table a lot

I don't even bother. Have 13 odd pages and I'll already have a champion in mind if anything needs slight tweaking, although most builds are already covered.

Used to make my own but by the time I've selected my champ, if I'm last pick or so, you don't have the time to fully remake a page.

I have like 14 pages and use 1. Doing your runes every game means you don't forget to change them and you get really fast at it. Also people are acting like most champions don't use the same stat shards ESPECIALLY those in the same role.

I get that but I dont memorize what the runes do and I often change my role when I feel like it's not worth it. I get what your saying.

I've been playing for like 8 years. I have gotten them over time when they did 2 for 1's with IP.

Back when having multiple pages was useful.

I would like that added in but in the meantime you can pre plan the build you are doing for the champ you want to play.

Something you can do is wait the full 30 sec to lock in your champ and spend that time to remake your rune page, that way if you run out of time during champ select to make the page, you still have the prep time between last lock-in and the loading screen start-up to further edit your page.

No the out-of game time is already too long. Just select low spec mode and grid mode on the rune page and there will be little to none animations!

We should be able to play with our runes and set them while the champion selection is going on, not open a window over said process.

Rune shards should be available on the Champion Selection page. Doesn't make sense not to. They are far more situational against your enemy laners, and should be more available for change as such.
