Suggestions to improve Team Builder

I love Team Builder, but it's really underwhelming as it stands. I have two suggestions:

Allow the Team Leader to not only pick roles and positions, but also champions, that way you can literally build the team you want, whatever it may be.
Remove the queue restriction for people that want to play outside the meta. What do I mean by this? Very simple: if you go bot lane as a support and you pick Braum, you'll more often than not get a very short queue, because Braum is meta support and his role is stated as support. But if you pick Kayle, for instance, to go as as support, you'll face a bitch of a queue.

That would be all.

And every team leader will pick only the best champions and your chance of getting into a match with anything less (even slightly weaker meta picks, eg support Soraka) is 0%.

I strongly disagree with you, if you've ever played Team Builder you know that that's where most of the non-meta games occur. People play normals to have fun, I've seen literally everything in Team Builder. Besides, most people don't even care, what you always see in Team Builder is "Top, any role", "Jungle, any role", "Mid, any role", "Bottom, any role"². Abuses like you suggest would be minor.

As for the second point, are you so sure of that? I mean, when you go queue for a game it shows the message "Very Long", if you pick, like my example, Kayle support. The game cannot know in advance if the Team Leader is gonna reject you to make such a prediction.

Actually if you pick Urgot and go bot ADC, it will say the queue time is Very Long, but if you go Vayne bot and go ADC it will say it is short.

So some enforcing of the meta is in the team builder itself.

Well, this goes against everything Riot has said about teambuilder or their own non-enforcement of the meta. If this is true, it is a bleeding shame.
