Addition to title was necessary. Anyways, not saying U.R.F. is bad AT ALL, I love U.R.F. It's just that it could be leading to a featured event list that repeats. I hope that U.R.F. is the only repeating one they have.
I admit, I haven't liked any of the other FGMs. URF is pretty much the only one that has stolen my attention from the standard modes. My personal opinions: Hexakill, meh--just felt like a normal game with about 50% more cluster-fuckups. One for all, meh, mildly interesting. Mirror, meh. Ascension doesn't even get a meh. YMMV, obviously.
I would rather have them all "repeating," but not as events.
Add in a permanent "feature" queue that rotates through old featured modes. Roll up a new map/mode combination every week. We have enough behind us to create a strong variety. Hexakill CS? TT Nemesis? One For All (non-mirror) HA? So many combinations. It gives you the occasional chance to go back into your favorite modes, while keeping them around short enough to stay exciting. And when a NEW mode comes out, the rotation shuts down for a few weeks, and is replaced by the new mode's full feature period.
