Could the "Pathing" feature be changed with walls and player's movements/position with them?

Sorry if the title is far too confusing, I couldn't think of any other way to put it clearly within the title limits.

Also sorry if this is the wrong section, but I am not entirely sure this is a Gameplay and Balance topic since its more about the map and it's pathing feature.

What I was asking/thinking about was having the "Automatic Pathing" that happens when we click to move somewhere changed a bit in regards to walls or obstacles close to players (within stepping/near-stepping distance), with the change being that the pathing stops automatically making routes going around the area when you click right on/near the wall, and instead sends your character to the exact location/as close as possible to the area you wished to move to.

The reason for asking for such a change is that I find combat in the more "enclosed" areas of the jungle hard - more so because of how erratic the pathing gets when moving around rather than the enemy team.

Clicking any area except two feet in front of you in these areas (Dragon and Baron Pits included) results in the character pathing going crazy and making you take a path straight around the perceived obstacle/wall, paths which generally take you right smack dab into the middle of danger or straight out of a fight when in reality you wanted to go further into/closer to the walls and attack/flash/dash/leap over them instead.

I have had countless times where I was in the middle of a jungle camp's area or in the Dragon/Baron Pit during teamfights/ganks/escapes and tried to get closer to a wall to flash over only for my character to instead derp around and walk right back into the entrance/direction of the enemy because I dared to click a little further than 2 ft from my character.

Ideally for "Long Pathing" (which is when the path you take is long and you normally use your camera to view the situation ahead of you or something, basically anything a notable distance away) nothing would be changed, only that walls and stuff in close proximities would allow you to click on/near them so that you can walk into touching distance of them without pathing sending you on a big U-Turn.

Automatic pathing is an interesting concept, but I think part of the issue is that the ability to do so would be cooldowns and stuff could happen along the way to screw with it and there'd be a bunch of stuff to calculate. Also, how would you determine which stuff you want factored into the automatic pathing? Do you want flash to be possible? Do you want your abilities spammed (especially if they have mana costs)? So many factors to take into account..
