"This is your legacy..."

It isn't much of a legacy if I'm the only one who can see it -_-

I think Riot has a wonderful opportunity to add some competition to their featured game modes. They're just kind of toying with us with their snowdown tracker page - they build it up to be this 'legacy' that you're building with your poro hits and king summons and wins, but if these stats aren't displayed on your profile page, or aren't part of a broader competitive ladder, its really just bunk isn't it?

Add some simple ladders to foster competition so that all this stat tracking has some meaning beyond a webpage that only you can view. Wins, win rate, poro accuracy %, etc. No rewards tied to it, just bragging rights and a sharable URL. These stats are then rolled into and onto your summoner profile for posterity's sake.

For the record - these stats are already tracked by Riot and can be data mined from their servers (look up your game on LOLskill sometime - it has your Ascension, URF, All-for-1, and all kinds of other stats on display when you mouse over your character portrait).

Don't try and build up this feeling of epic legacy - make it an actual legacy through the means described above!

Nah, they did something similar to this with Shurima. The stat thing is fine. It's really a shame it's so much less fun.

I don't understand why you think its 'fine'. Because they did the same thing with Shurima?

It's not designed to be a ladder system. After you get the icons, it doesn't improve your legend from what I can tell.

Would people really compete in it anyway? Putting all the ranked and non-ranked players in a competition event... probably more people not competing and just going for the icons/rewards. Riot would have to consider if it is really worth it.
