So you wanted Soraka to be "the" healer. Then maybe look at Sonas numbers...more sustained healing with absolutely zero risk involved for her, nor with any decission-making. and on top of all that she even get´s an AoE-shield. And the best disengage in the goddamn game...running away with permament- 500+ ms for her whole team. (yea, it´s a rant, sue me. But just look at poor Soraka compared to Sona...and maybe on Sonas winrate in any mode (>70% in Aram, ~60% in Dom) that allows for her to gain AP (SR sort of takes it away from her, as she´s a horrible sololaner early on)).

How about no? I play aram all the time just so that I can play Sona and kill everyone without having an ADC complain about KS, or an entire team calling me a troll for picking top/mid/adc Sona. You took away my Sona in URF, but I'll be dammed if you take her away in aram too.

Frankly all the healers are good in ARAM because there is no fountain heal. If there was a Fountain heal Sona would be mediocre.

Sona is broken in ARAM, but there are others as well, Ziggs for instance, or perhaps Azir (yes Azir). I do belive there should be a ban phase for ARAM, (much like snowdown had) it was a way to remove the seriously overpowered chars in a situation like ARAM , such as Yi, Ziggs, Kat, Lulu, Sona, (list goes on)
