Dominion should be replaced by URF

If those are your thoughts,that an actual creative,planned and well established game mode should be replaced by an april fools joke,screw you. There are actual dominion players in this game. All this mode needs is a map VU(it looks sooo old) and mods to make the game mode longer(had a 6 minute game) and more strategic. I've been playing it a bit recently and its actually more fun than classic mode due to the fact that it isn't(entirely) decided by kills and gold and has a lot of upsets. If only objectives were made a bit more difficult to steal with a base point increase.

Nobody likes Dominion. Everybody likes URF. Therefore URF should replace Dominion. Ty Rito in advance.

You can think your brains off, but anything that involves Riot's effort in conjunction with anything Dominion related is like oil and water. Even removing the mode (hello there draft queue which has been dead for years).

I agree with you (never played dominion before) but i would like to see urf come back in some way. It'd be so fun to try it with some of the new champions

I like dominion but I hate its map.

All it becomes is running around grabbing the checkpoints, no one pushes the wave, no forced fights happen, and you get killed way to easily. It needs a new balanced map around how champions have become mobile.

Dominion is just another control point game that happens to use League of Legend Characters. "Creative" is a huge stretch, since that game mode predates MOBAs.

"Well established" is similarly stretching. What percentage of the community has played a game of Dominion this week? This month? This year? I'm not sure if any sites report on that, but considering that the last 3 threads I saw about Dominion were complaining that it had more bots than people, I'm guessing the number would be even lower than reported.

So all Dominion needs is a complete rework and a new paint job to be fun again? That sounds like the problem Riot faces with every featured game mode, which makes Dominion seem even more out of place when compared to the other permanent game modes.

Honestly, Riot needs more options in the Custom Games section. Let people make practice modes (like URF) or other game modes (hexakill, Ascension, all-for-one), and put Dominion with the other modes. With the influx of other game modes, more people will look at the custom games section, which would hopefully not lengthen the wait time for Dominion players any more than it currently is.

For myself? Until Dominion feels like something other than a control point game where I'm trying to lose slower than my opponents (as oppose to trying to win), the mode will mean nothing. No map update would bring me back to that mode for more than a game or two to look at the new scenery.

Dominion is getting again to the pre revive trinket state (at least in EUW and at my MMR) :( So bad to play it lately, I don't even care anymore. Just picking any champion and going with unpopular builds. Kinda funny how people complain when you do this tho. At the same time when you play it right and want to help the team to win they won't listen you and yet will flame. I don't get it -_-"

I don't think there's an issue in general that the games are too short. If you got a 7 minute long game, chances are your team stomped them hard. Better to finish quickly than drag out for 20 minutes and wait for a surrender.

Dominion is also plenty tactical if people play it correctly. Many people don't try to think and just mindlessly push for the windmill. That's generally not the ideal way to play Dominion. I'm not opposed to a rework, but I doubt it'll happen anytime soon.

No one wants Dominion. Please replace it with URF. All of my friends say they will stop playing league all together unless URF is available. And i agree with them, i might not play again untill next year(NO MORE MONEY FROM ME RIOT)
