Horde Mode

Ironclad Dragon··5 votes·278 views

If League ever got a Horde Mode similar to DOTA 2's Wraith Night, with progressively harder waves and strong boss units, it would have to have a few balance changes to improve the gameplay experience. Suggest a few, but remember it can't be overpowered; there has to be some challenge to it.

Caitlyn Caitlyn

Ace In The Hole

  • Full Metal Jacket: Damages every unit it passes through.

Xerath Xerath

Eye of Destruction

  • Bullseye: Stuns on direct impact.

Rite of the Arcane

  • Mortar Strike Incoming: More charges, faster casting speed and larger AOE.
  • Power Overwhelming: Deals magic damage per second to nearby enemies while active.

Sounds cool, maybe it could be more like see how long you can last against minions that get progressively harder

Progressive difficulty is necessary for an unlimited waves gametype. Nothing would be more boring than sitting through several dozen waves which are just as difficult as the first (easier even, since you have full equipment).

I think what you should do is make it with the minions like this so, for example: At 30 sec caster and melee minions spawn At 2 min siege minions spawn At 8 min Super minions spawn At 2 min a random champion spawns with starter items At 4 min 2 random champions spawn 2 more champs for a little while At 10 min 3 random champs spawn with 3 completed items

Basically the minions get more powerful and larger minions become more common the later you go. Champions and numbers of champions get harder the longer you go

(Who knows, maybe at 45 min 8 champions will spawn with full build!)
