@Riot, Is there a meaning behind this Demacian crest?

A unique version of the Demacian crest was revealed today during the League of Legends Live concert's performance of the Quinn and Valor theme:

Just curious if it has any meaning/significance, or if it's simply a piece of concept art that ended up becoming the official Demacian crest later in development.

For reference, the actual Demacian emblem was indeed shown during Galio's theme, which leads me to believe the two crests mean different things:

The two are the same thing. The one is more simplistic and the other is massive and well decorated. They are both with the same desing (sword with wings) so yeah. If you add more detail to something it won't become another thing just the old thing but more beautiful or different. A good ex. is AC's logos. Take a look at Assassin's creed's 1 logo and AC Syndicate's logo. I can say they are very different but with the same desing and representing the same thing.
