I can't help but hope that, come LeBlanc's VU, her new /joke animation in this skin will have her pull out a poro from within the hat :)

In the very future event of her VGU, she most likely will not receive an animation of her pulling a poro out of a hat, for several reasons:

This is a 520RP skin.
Unless it's a specifically special case, VGUs use the same recall animation as the classic skin. See Taric, Poppy, Tristana, and Sion.

Shouldn't you be asking for a larger splash for people who DO have small and shitty monitors, not people who DON'T have small and shitty monitors? Because if their monitor is neither small, nor shitty, then they would be able to see the picture just fine.

The point is that a small resolution splash looks very bad when blown up to be a desktop background. Thus high-res monitors need high-res pictures.

Don'cha worry, 1215x717 is the in-client standard resolution. However, and I'm sure I'm not alone here, I'd like to see the release of a higher-resolution version of these splash arts.

1920x1080 at the very least. Though 1920x1200 would be nice too (I won't touch a desktop monitor with anything less, having already experienced the joy of those extra 120 pixels in height). In before the march of the 4K lovers. Now THERE is a New Year's resolution to appreciate. xD

But I do worry if the splashes are only made in 1215x717 - my guess is they make them larger, and then reduce them, as at that small size, they can't be easy to work with. So for whatever reason (my guess is fear of art theft), there are sure to be higher res. version in-house.

Most likely not, actually. If they decided to update a splash, then Riot probably thinks that LeBlanc is an overall visually appealing champion, and that only her old splashes need some touchup. It's why they're choosing not to give Yorick any new skins or update his one ones, for example. He's getting a VGU.

If they deem the Gravedigger a worthy candidate for a full visual update, then I'm sure LeBlanc wouldn't be out of the question either, as her art is really beginning to show its age and could benefit greatly from a modernization/update.

That being said, they probably decided to refresh the Prestigious skin splash art because: A.) They wanted a high-quality placeholder to tide us over until she gets a visual relaunch, or B.) This skin's design is going to remain relatively the same post-VU, so no changes will be necessary. Alternatively, they may just make minor changes to the splash later once LeBlanc has gotten her VU, as they did to Shen's base post-rework, for example.

Well she isn't on the list for a VGU currently and will likely get a bigger update in the upcoming assassin-class update. So unless her class-update fails to be successful(like Mordekaisers),it is rather unlikely for her to get on the list for VGUs anytime soon(since they do only VGUs recently).

I gotta ask, as it looks like Quinn got another bird in her life too now: when playing in the Phoenix Quinn skin (assume it's the same with every skin), and pressing R to get carried by Valor (boo! I want old tag-team back!), and then recalling...who's that other bird to come down?

It's like Panda Annie recalling with Tibbers already up.

Recalling ends Quinn's ult, so there should only ever be one Valor out at a time. There is a bug at present, though, that causes Quinn's recall to not end her ultimate if she's under the effects of the Baron buff (so you get a big Valor and a small Valor all at once).

I really wish his size were more consistent in game, but it'll probably be a long time before that gets fixed (if at all).

I didn't know there was a bug about it, though I meant under nornal circumstances (there are no Barons in ARAM, where I live ^^). But I am not surprised. :/

Yeah, Riot's art team did a really nice job with it! The skin was on sale a few weeks ago and now I'm really regretting my decision to not buy it because I didn't like the splash as much as Leblanc's original. :(
