I'd love to see a "pure" Blessed Isles champion

As in, a champion born on the Isles that escaped the Ruination before it could transform or affect them (unlike Thresh/Yorick).

Kalista's lore mentions a "distant white city" at the heart of the Isles; what would someone born and raised there have looked like? How would they dress, or what would their abilities be like? Maybe an old, barefoot monk with ancient magic? Or perhaps a white-hooded priestess with protective spells? I don't know, but I'd love to see a champion from this mysterious place, even if the Ruination happened so long ago.

I like this idea.

They could have a small disdain for kalista since kalista brought her king to the isles and caused this.

i was working on designing a fanchamp with some friends awhile back and we actually had conceptuallized something like this!

she was a yordle who went to the blessed isles before they got destroyed and was made immune to the ruination. she had a lot of shaman-y, natural magic. the project got discontinued but i still love the concept

Yorick kind of makes notes in his VO that he's the last of his kind. I don't think anyone is left alive who was an original inhabitant of the Isles that isn't him or Maokai.

umm....if I remember correctly....that "distant white city" was the eventual epicenter of the ruination. >.> And between the people of the Blessed Isles not really leaving their island to mingle with the war-torn continent that is Valoran and the Ruination being smack-dab in the middle of their home, I highly doubt any pure islander escaped. Even if there WAS a person who wasn't on the island at the time, it has been many hundreds of years since the event. So long in fact that the original island is long forgotten by most of Runeterra. You'd be lucky to even find a passing mention of such a place in old texts at this point.

I have always been under the impression that the blessed isles was like a reverse Demacia, very into magic to the point that almost everyone had the gift in some way shape or form and pretty much every building and forest was enchanted with the arcane which explains why the entire isle became corrupt once the first domino tipped the magical network let it spread until it was halted by the ocean.

Part of me likes to think that the blessed isles were where the summoners of old lived and that jax is one of the few who were strong enough to partially resist the curse with the help of his trusty cold iron lamp post.

i always thought of Soraka as perhaps reworked to a Blessed Isle champion ever since the WW rework

Im pretty sure that Maokai is from blessed isles. A cool champion would be one of the monks that protected Mordekaiser skull underground but i dont remember if that's old or new lore

The Blessed Isles seems very moon based to me. The celestial vault page on the Universe tab says that it was unlocked "revelations of the Lunatropic Demisphere". A demisphere is a half sphere, essentially, and while it doesn't seem like lunatropic is a thing, heliotropism is. What that is, is the movement of plants, to better face the sun. So logically, a Lunatropic Demisphere would be a half sphere that rotates to face the moon.

I had a concept where a priestess from the Blessed Isles who died had her soul bound to a young girl. Porqa and Temperance. Porqa was cjosen to continue their rituals. And could set up soul cairns, for Temperance to cast spells through, for healing, shielding and warding. And when Porqa died her passive let you run around the map as temperance invisible and untargetable, acting as a mobile ward.
