I think it's te celestial beings of mt targon who enslaved him, listening to the VO and his lore on PBE he really hates targon and often says he wants his freedom. The way he talks he isn't even evil he's a chaotic good persona meaning he does do bad stuff, but that's his job, he kills stars, but makes new ones. So I'm guessing he was enslaved by the cosmic beings of the mountain that's why there are more and more aspects starting to rise, because once he is free he will kill them all.

I am not closed for that possibility , but until we get any further info regarding the aspects, mount targon and aurelion sol, there is no way to confirm that is them for sure.

True, but he hates them, and he says "my stars are for all" meaning he creates light for everyone. Someone who does that doesn't sound evil. So for him to hate them means he has to have a reason. We know he is enslaved and hates it. Like pantheon was taken over by a cosmic spirit, maybe they tried to do the same with AS, but were unable to do much more then enslave him. He even says something about being the animal aspect and he wants his freedom. So it just seems likely.

Bards actual power is rather questionable,I mean in the mountain video he doesn't go in and ends all conflict with his power to get the egg,instead he swoops in,snatches the egg and gets out before anyone can do something against him,so it looks to me more like bard isn't that powerful,but merely knows how to use the power he has to get the best results.

Sol however seems to be extremely powerful,but similar to Xerath,it looks like his power got limited,so currently he is extremely strong,but he'd be even stronger if he was unbound.

Which of course brings up the question: What kind of race managed to limit his power?Given Aurelions VO,it seems like these beings live in the city where atreus became pantheon.

I mean how powerful are they if they were able to limit Sols power?
