There will be something big in the next PBE patch...

Obviously we are seeing not half of the event yet. I mean, look at the top of the Piltover page where this dotted line is that acts like some sort of index. The symbol of Piltover on the left, and the symbol of Zaun on the right, and on the way there there are four more dots locked.

However, Meddler has stated that the Warwick Rework will not be in the next patch, and I also doubt that it's a new champion (I mean, we literally just got Camille). So it's gonna be a rework, but one not so ressource heavy and time consuming as the Warwick or the Urgot Rework. One where the thematics and personality are pretty clear, just the gameplay is a bit clunky and the visuals have aged quite a bit.

Now what Zaunite champs could fit that requirement? Warwick Urgot are not possible, as it would be too much work. The same probably applies to Singed . Zac Viktor Ekko Twitch are relatively new or at least don't require immedeate attention now. Doesn't leave many other champions from Zaun, namely Janna and Blitzcrank.

Both are champions who do require some changes for the game health, Blitzcrank being the more obvious one here. But Janna is causing some problems as well, constantly being one of the highest % winrate supports despite playing boring AF. I love being a shield bot... Both are more or less solid in their theme, only the gameplay and their visuals need some upgrades, and this event is the perfect chance for such a small rework.

While it is technically possible because sometimes Riot just releases model updates to some champions without warning (Maokai, Alistar, Singed) I don't think its likely. Bilgewater was by far the best event we've had, but Riot said that it would be the last of its caliber because it simply took too long to organize all the teams. Going foward, I'd expect much less cohesion from the various teams compared to the Bilgewater event, so I wouldn't expect anything special next patch besides the new stories and bio's they put up for Piltover.

Well he said the warwick rework won't be in the next patch, but you know the next patch is the one with camille,so it could be in the next pbe-patch.(Aka,the first patch of the next year,as riot does a winter break towards the end of the year).

It's highly unlikely that we'll get another change to gameplay so soon after the assassin update. Even then the lore team and the gameplay team are probably not on the same page. It's simply too soon to make big changes to a champion kit so soon after an complete roaster update, much less to champion that are simply fine as they are. Neither Blizcrank nor Janna really need an change to their kit at the moment as they are both relatively healthy. I stake more in Warwick rework comming out than the possibility of an Janna or Blizcrank change.
