I would pay to keep this as a permanent feature for players who want to buy particular accents.
Idea: Why not just have map accents active for free during events but make purchasing them to have it on as a secondary option in case someone wants the maps in ranked or on permanently?

There's a lot of scripting involved with changing up the map. Riot could do it, but they have other bigger fish to fry.
Considering that this time the map seems to be toggleable it looks like Riot is working on making it easier to activate deactivate it, which could lead to map skins being a future option.
I also would love to have the arcade map available for people with arcade/battle boss skins! That would mean you could toggle it on n off with ur arcade skin.
