So, I know I'll get downvoted for this, but to me, Caitlyn has never been a policewoman - she's always been a stripper roleplaying as a policewoman in some seedy night club.
I'm seeing her Pulsefire skin, however, and for the very first time, I am getting badass vibes from her.
Do her voicelines still include cringeworthy "sexy" jokes about handcuffs and stuff, or has she become the badass cop I've always wanted her to be?

Did you read her newer lore? They have been trying to push her towards being an actual good at their job cop than someone who dresses like a steampunk stripper (her old lore also pointed out she was a good cop/sheriff, but it more so told us rather than showed us).
I'd say that yes, she's badass and is meant to be. All champions are in some way or another.
Why do you think you'll be downvoted? Over the past few days, her and MF have been the most talked about champions regarding sex appeal. The consensus being that her outfit is inappropriate. Even Riot agrees with it.
Has anyone ever seen a stripper? Granted, I haven't, but while they have a variety of outfits (dresses included), they prefer things they can slip in and out of. Sheriff and Officier Caitlyn are more stripper designed than her base skin. Even Nurse Akali. I can understand prostitute (though harsh), or even porn star, but that type of outfit is something one would wear to the club.
The handcuff joke is hardly from the most lewd, and it seems like she's turning men down rather than flirting with them.
Honestly, ever since that article about sexy champs, it seems like the only ones people agree should be provocative sex symbols are Ahri (whose lore moved her away from succubus to having a feral addiction to souls) and Eve (where if the leaks are true, will somehow have less clothes).
That skin do not affect the lore. She is not a "badass now"

In a blog post about sexy champions, Riot acknowledge the early mistakes they made: a sexy champions that doesn't make sense for the game lore. Like, ahri is good, but cait is not. it doesn't make sense for her lore as a police detective.
With the newest Caitlyn skin, I can only wish they do a VU on Caitlyn to fix that.

that skin looks like complete garbage tho a sniper rifle isn't suppose to be a giant laser gun it doesn't fit at all it seems forced even if a was giving that skin for free I would never use it
If they do do a visual update on her, im really hoping theyll keep some of that quality to her. Because lets be honest, who could imagine Caitlyn in a formal outfit? Also id really like if they kept the hat and belts.
