Should we be offered refunds for skins that have been changed?

I know It's been brought up before. But I'd like to add onto The idea:

Riot: you should do the right thing and offer refunds for skins/champions that have gone through the following:

-a champion update -a visual update -a VO change

  • splash artwork change

Riot already did a thing where for a few champions if you owned them before the visual Update you would get a "traditional" skin But what about other skins or splash artworks that we no longer like anymore because you completely changed them up and removed the reason we even bought the skin? Or even champion?

Examples: lollipoppy was mainly bought for the horrific splash artwork

-sailor gangplank (a legacy skin at that) now look like freaking Popeye, I didn't buy sailor gangplank so I could look like Popeye

-sion: (albeit I like the new sion): completely changed his VO and look. I remember the old sion joke about hand bone and axe bone... I miss that.

-Nasus: the VO update I remember nobody really wanted it out of respect for the voice actor who passed away, but you did it anyways.

-any other champion that has been DRAMATICALLY changed for balance purposes (juggernauts)

I'm not begging for a refund here but it'd be pretty nice of you to allow me to refund the RP so I can buy different skins I want, or offer the ability to switch out your preferred splash artwork/skin design/VO you want to use

They did this in the past with champions specifically and people used it extensively to refund purchases they had carelessly done in the past, and saw it as a way to get their money back. So while it was a nice system it was ultimately exploited by the people it was never intended for, but still could use it regardless. Skins are in the same boat; a lot of people make quick, silly purchases for League, and if they offered this stuff there'd be a massive influx of people going "Oh shit, they're changing that skin? I bought it on impulse and don't really care for it...guess I'll refund it then, since I've got the chance through this system."

Not saying it wouldn't be awesome to get refunds if you don't like changes made to skins because of visual updates, but that's Riot's reasoning; they offered a kind gesture and a large amount of folks took it as an opportunity to take their money back for a purchase they did recklessly as opposed to the smaller amount of folks who actually wanted the refund because they didn't like it compared to what it was before.

Also not saying Riot's wholly benevolent or anything; this is a business move. It was effectively a system they had that became a hole in the money landfill that is skins, and they wanted to plug it.

They did before Renekton, I got Rengar refunded (Bola change) but when I asked for refunds for Renekton they said they no longer refund for visual updates.

Poppy is gone. At least I didn't buy any skins for her.

i feel cheated that all the players that bought lolipoppy for the awesome and beautiful old splash art are now stuck with this one (kappa)
