Just curious, since he's been pretty much a barren desert in terms of lore, and now suddenly he's listed as an Ixtal champion. Does this mean he'll finally get lore that will place him in the world?
We know the next lore update will bring a Qiyana color story, so I would not be surprised if it came with more Ixtal lore. And yes, Malphite Lore too.
Considering so far we've learned that Ixtal civilization highly value and regularly teach elemental magic, I'd say Malphite's status as basically a living element will come into play. I'm looking forward to it, its been a long time coming that rock boi needs some story. Malphite didn't have an obvious place anywhere else, so I think this will suit him just fine. Plus, I don't think many Malphite fans were too attached to his lore or personality, so they have a lot of freedom, but I could very well be wrong.
