Hiten Style and Wuju Style, in terms of lore, are essentially the same, or have the same origins?

I am saying that because in-game, both are actually very similar. Both are on-hit true damage effects. The difference is that Hiten Style's maximum amount of damage is 75 as it only has a base damage and no scalings. While Wuju Style starts out dealing less base damage than Hiten Style but it starts to deal more damage as Master Yi stacks AD because it actually has a scaling.

This makes me think. What if, in lore, the Wuju Style is actually a similar but diferent fighting style compared to the Hiten Style? Peharps a Wuju sword hits harder than a Hiten blade, but it is harder to learn how to wield it properly. Considering that both are Ionian styles, I would not be surprised if the Wuju and the Hiten style actually have the same origins in some sort of ancient Ionian fighting style involving cold weapons, however they both evolved separately.

Wuju isn't a specific fighting style; it's a form of spiritual understanding. It's the reason why Wukong and Master Yi can have different fighting styles but still be Wuju practitioners. At least that's as far as I remember the explanation going.

Well Hiten style includes healing, Wuju doesn't.

Well, it's definitely not unheard of having two forms of martial art that have the same origin. But to know for sure, Riot would need to update the Ionian lore. It's not unlikely since multiple Ionian champs still have a reference to the League of Legends in their lores, but with how many places there are that need an update (Bandle city, the Void, Piltover, Zilean in general) and how Ionia was pretty much one of the last places to be updated before the Retcon, who knows when that will happen.

Well assuming they are similar to martial arts, many have similar bases that just diverged after years of development, some decided to specialize in certain movements like jiujitsu is about grappleing while Vovinam is based on kicks.

You can find similar movements in each of them since its just the most effective way of doing it. I would assume hiten and wuju are both ancient practices but are cousins in origins

They both pale in comparison to the legendary Gangam Style though

What the hell is Yasuo's style for that matter his sword looks wayyyyy too long to be useable as a sword he kinda reminds me of Fake Assassin from fate zero but fake assassin might be more op though I can't say for sure.
