Is it just me or is Riot not fully hitting their mark on skins lately?
Plz fully read before you downvote this!
All I'm saying is that when it comes to some of their skins recently they haven't addressed some issues that people talked about.
For example the Arclight Yorick skin. I was excited when I first saw the teaser for it and think it's an awesome skin. However when the splash of it came out, some pointed out that the helmet visor in the splash didn't match the one in game. There were a few posts that talked about changing it, no word from Riot, and now to live we still have that difference of a perfect splash art met with a less than representation of the skin which looks odd and bugs the crap out of me.
Another example is how Super Galaxy Elise's ponytail apparently doesn't move and how it looks like it's "glued to her back." Here we are again soon to have that patch come to live tomorrow, and most likely those skins to come later next week, and no word from Riot that they went in and fixed that.
I'm starting to feel like Riot is just cutting corners a bit here to save on production time and money to get these skins out and not waste on fixing them and to me it's a bit insulting. I'm not buying Arclight Yorick, even if it's his long awaited new skin, when there's a pretty large difference between the splash and in-game model. They're just starting to get greedy with all these epic skins they've been releasing all year, but are now rushing them out a bit too soon.
My dumb opinion, so whatever, but it has to make you look back briefly and think.
