So, Beatrice might have been retconned.
I don't care how cool you will make the new Swain look, Riot. If you retcon Beatrice out of the game, I will never reinstall this game.

Beatrice was all but a dream.

Tonally, Beatrice always ran the risk of making Swain feel more like a tropey pirate captain than a grimdark ruler of an expansionist nation. I feel for those who’ll miss her, but thankfully she was never a huge aspect of his character so the loss isn’t so bad — Swain hardly even refers to Beatrice in his VO, and much less by name. She really felt more like an accessory than anything.
That useless bird was just limiting his character from unlocking the true badassery that he deserves, not sure if it's really gone but if it is im glad and i hope they trashed her files for good because he can take a lot better direction on his own

Riot even added jokes about Swain not knowing what bird of his is beatrice, just to rub salt in the wound.

Still, as a Swain main I'm damn appreciative of the love they put into new Swain and how good he is, but I'm not appreciative of the arrogance and callousness that comes from shit like that.
It seems like Swains new lore is he made a deal with a demon, best guess is that demon is gonna be Beatrice
