I sincerely hope we'll see a Cass VU this year.

This February marks the fourth years since her last skin (Jade Fang Cassiopeia) was released and we're still left wondering when she'll see some love again from Riot's visual department.

She might not be Yorick or Urgot (well, one of those received a VGU and the other one is still up for one) but she's definitely in the top 5 when it comes to Riot neglecting a champion over these last years. You see, her most glaring issue is her model-rig which is still from the time when she first came out back in 2010 (yeah, she's a really old snek).

I talked with few Riot members and they agreed that her "tail physics" are probably the biggest reason for her lack of skin-releases. She's simply too outdated at this point and really needs a proper "skeleton" to catch up in terms of quality. So you see, the only way for her to become finally eligible for another skin-release would be a visual update for ol' Cassie.

She's been around since season 1 after all, so she really should be among their VU candidates this year. She might have received a TU back in 2014 but it didn't fix any of the issues her rig actually had. If they finally get around to updating her, I'd really wish for them to also update her voicelines to something more fitting to what she had before.

The update from 2014 drastically changed her personality from a seductive lamia to a sassy snakelady trying to make snake or venom related puns on a constant basis. Where did all of that sexyness go? If you ask me, that was one of THE defining things of her personality and losing out on that was simply too much.

What really made her so attractive was the way she talked, the way she snuck little hisses into her sentences and how she took her time to pronounce and enjoy certain words. All of that is simply... gone. I just wonder, am I the only who misses this aspect of her?
