Are Syndra's personality and personal/psycologial motives anywhere in her lore?

I've only found vague references about her hating being controlled, that she's obsessed with power, and wanting to take revenge now that she's freed.

Can anyone find, or infer, something more substantial and elaborated?

Any future plans on this Riot?

Lol, i don't think much nuance was given to her personality beyond the abusive childhood she had (something most people already thought existed in the old lore, just it's now been clarified as a fact).... the only thing i can add is that she's apparently easily distracted, which i took as a form of ADD/ADHD to make her more understandable. She does work hard to try and control herself (the lore said she really wanted to succeed in this). I wouldn't call her power obsessed tbh... cuz it's really only her personal thing.. so maybe a verrry mild ocd thing related to that... You have a character who (old lore at least since nothing alludes to this) potentially had limitless potential, her power was growing every day and she loved her magic and wanted to get better and better. She reveled in this growth, much like a person who loves learning will bask in new knowledge. She was sent somewhere to improve her magic, a prospect i'm sure she would've loved, only to find the new mentor is actively sabotaging her efforts by limiting and suppressing her magic, confronts the guy only to get threatened (totally remove her magic..something that was compared to a lobotomy by Rioters) so acts in anger/righteous indignation. Something that may have started off as an accident, but eventually became self justified in her eyes.

In the new lore however, some of these events do occur (not the threatening, nor the potentially limitless storyline something extremely contrary to Syndra's storyline) but in the end we just see a larger loss in control. One in which she kills her mentor while he's trying to calm her down (who apparently doesn't threaten her), You have girl who seemingly is aware of the destructive nature of her powers -- and not just cuz she's strong but the nature of her magic itself is apparently negative (it'd be understandable if it's just the strength of her magic causing the damage, or if it's a neutral magic that, while tainted with negative emotions, becomes more volatile and dangerous...but it's outright said to be sheer negativity lol.... Im choosing to interpret it as a neutral power tainted by her emotions tho. :p) -- and suddenly feels affronted that her mentor was trying to suppress some of it cuz it wasn't healthy for her, or the land. So a severe overreaction on Syndra's part, and just feels extremely weird cuz objectively it seems like Riot was trying to lend more sympathy towards the mentor and paint Syndra as negatively as possible. There isn't much development beyond this since she loses control, starts a negative sinkhole of magic and ultimately has the spirit of the land itself perform a Deus Ex Machinus and put her in the Dreaming Pool.

In the Dreaming Cave (leaked) we see a girl who was actively trying to control her emotions, only to get bullied more: The proverbial straw that broke the camel's back.... I would've liked to have seen the corresponding Lore to this color story since the timeline of events would've been changed with a slightly different narrative resulting lorewise.

The Dreaming Pool (official) later shows a character who hates Ionia, but still gives people a chance to speak and present their case (btw, the way she spoke doesn't flow as well as it did in The Dreaming Cave imo.. just feels a bit...off idrk). We see a person who holds a grudge (traps her warden in her prison...which is understandable, and justice in a sense), but also a person who is vindictive: Hates Ionia as an entirety... which i guess if her entire village vilified her even before her magic was displayed, and even more so after.

I'd really like some changes to the lore itself, the color story is relatively, and comparatively, fine. Sure it doesn't focus on her perspective, but it revolves around her: Sorta like Janna's and Rammus' color stories.... I would greatlyl appreciate more characterization however, but that is still possible in later color stories... The lore itself however, is supposed to be a characterizing summary of the Champion... something this didn't really do much, or at least it deviates a bit from the original feel of Syndra.

XD Selfish self promotion here, but i made a post discussing the changes to Syndra's powers and the narrative of the lore, could you maybe check it out and comment ur thoughts? :3
